Ayurveda therapy training: Basic in Bremen

Ayurveda is “a medical science that contains spiritual elements”. Ayurveda is believed to be a gift from God to sages and seers that they passed on to their followers.

Ayurveda is an ingenious medical strategy that is widely practised in India. The word “Ayurveda” is derived from two Sanskrit words, “Ayur” means “age” and “Veda” stands for knowledge.

Ayurveda is understandably the “science of age or life”. The legacy of Ayurveda practice goes back more than a thousand years. The goals of Ayurveda therapy are broad and the main focus is on ensuring a healthy and hearty body. The goals are described as:

Swasthasya Swathya Raksanam is the preventive aspect of Ayurveda for maintaining a healthy state of a person.
Aturasya Vicar Preshamanam essentially refers to the therapists’ strategies for health.

Ayurveda is often underestimated as an ordinary herbal medicine, which does not do justice to its true nature. Ayurveda is a mixture of medical science and the art of a healthy mind and body. It is a discipline of Vedic science that, along with other practices such as yoga, Vedic astrology, and meditation, also deals with physical health and health in order to maintain a healthy balance between physical and mental health.

The Dr Mishra Academy Bremen is a registered school of the International Ayurveda Association. Our course gives an insight into the Ayurvedic concept of body and beauty care. It covers all the relevant topics of Ayurveda mentioned below. The student can learn theory and practice alike.
